Preliminary Draft of Development Plan 06/17
There is a key update to Development Plan 06/17 in the area around Pestalozzistraße. This plan was originally created to provide rear access to the existing Gymnasium on Alt-Schönefeld via a turning circle. However, the situation has since evolved: with a second Gymnasium planned along the new Planstraße E, and in alignment with the broader goals of the Schönefeld Nord Master Plan, the road network needs to be adapted. Specifically, Pestalozzistraße is to be extended westward—from the Schönefeld fire station to Hans-Grade-Allee. This will establish a modern and efficient traffic connection, improving accessibility not only for the schools but also for the future residential quarter, Quartier A. This planned amendment is an important first step toward realizing the long-term vision of the Schönefeld Nord Master Plan.
